I got my MBA because I thought it would be practical. After all, my father and my grandfather had both been successful businessman, and I was expected to follow in their footsteps. Nonetheless, when I got to the level of actually getting into business, I found it unrewarding. I just didn’t have the feel for it. I wasn’t exactly pragmatic enough, and I didn’t work all that well with others. I was mostly talented at more creative tasks. I was good at thinking up products, logos, designs, and things like that. For a while, I thought about being an inventor, but then my dad gave me a better idea: he told me to get involved in a marketing career.
