Though I don’t go out for Halloween as much as a used to, I remember that in years past I saw a lot of couples in cutthroat pirate costume everywhere I went. Most of the time this was very cute, but there are some times when you just want to gag. I’m sorry, but I often become uncomfortable around those couples who completely mesh into one person.
I’m a very independent person, and even though I am very dedicated to my marriage, I believe that it is important to have my own identity. I also believe that this is very important for my husband as well.
